Krishna Prasad Garga and Satwiksairaj Rankireddy the 1st ranked boys U-17 doubles pair defeated Lu Chen and Su Li Wei of Chinese Taipei in straight games 21-14,21-14 in just 28 minutes in Kudosa, Indonesia in the junior Asian badminton championship today evening. However the boys singles player Lakshya Sen and Under 15 girls doubles pair of Gayatri Pullichand and Vaishanvi Reddy’s journey ended in the semi-finals this evening.
In the second match for Indians was Under 17 boys doubles where an Indian pair of Krishna Prasad and Satwik overcome the resistance of Chinese Taipei pair of Lu Chen and SU LI, winning the match in 2 straight sets at the identical score 21-14 in just minutes. They take on Jun Hau Leong and Fong Sau Sim of Malaysia.
In the first Indian match, Bagao Kristano Nurgho of Indonesia played Lakshya Sen. The match went into the third and lasted for 1 hour to be the longest match of the day.
