Saina Nehwal beats Ramadhini in straight sets 21-15,21-12 to enter into the semi finals of Yonex Indian Open Super Series at the Siri Fort Complex at New Delhi just few moments ago. It was an excellent display by the Indian shuttler who was made to sweat.
In the first set Ramadhini took the first point but Saina Nehwal took 5 successive points to make it 5-1. After that both Saina and Ramadhini took alternate points till 10-6 before Ramadhini took four points to level the score at 10-10. At the interval Saina took a slender lead of 11-10. After the interval Saina took four successive points to make 14-10. Ramadhini tried to make a comeback in the game but Saina was too good for the inexperienced Indonesian player. Saina Nehwal won the game 21-15.
In the second game Saina took the first point but soon after Ramadhini leveled it at 1-1. Saina took a 3-1 lead and then a 5-3 lead. At the interval it was 11-5 in favor of Saina Nehwal. Saina continued her domination over Ramdhini and played some excellent badminton. Some good rallies took place in this set. Saina won the second game 21-12.
In the semi finals Saina Nehwal will play Rachton Ichanton of Thailand tomorrow.
