And Sindhu divulged that she was surely upset after being crashed out of the tournament in the quarterfinal. “But at the same time, the positive part which I have taken from this show is that I could be able to defeat Li Xuerui in the pre-quarterfinal. She is one of the World’s all-time great players.” Sindhu said on Thursday. Incidentally, Li Xueirui won the gold medal in the London Olympics.

Sindhu also added, “Gopichand sir also has asked me to remember the match always whenever I will start training as defeating a great shuttler like Xuerui is not matter of joke.” Sindhu will be flying soon to participate in the Korea and Japan Open Masters championships and after those championships, Sindhu will have to take part in the Olympic qualification tournament.
