Ahead of the high-octane final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy, Men in Blue has worked hard during the hour-long net session at the sold-out Oval in London on Saturday, before the Virat Kohli-led side will wrestle it out to retain the coveted title of ICC Champions Trophy against arch-rivals Pakistan on Super Sunday (June 18).
While coming to the traditional front, both Virat Kohli and Sarfraz Ahmed have posed for a photograph with a coveted trophy at the iconic ground before speaking to media.
The fresh photographs revealed skipper Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan, Umesh Yadav gave the heart out during the rigorous net session, as safe as a house behind stumps Mahendra Singh was displaying his football skills which further saw Ravichandran Ashwin’s acrobatics on the field.
It’s pertinent to note, India has dominated Pakistan in the ICC events, as they’re aiming to clinch the title by repeating their superlative performance against Bangladesh in the second semi-final at the Edgbaston on June 15.
As Head Coach Anil Kumble was discussing things with skipper Virat Kohli, the other members of the team were sweating it out with the football as the session was comprised of batting, bowling and fielding drills.
The left-handed batsman has been top-scorer in the ongoing edition of ICC Champions Trophy while flaying the opposition with the willow.
On the other side Men in Green are currently wrestling in nets at Kensington Oval, following remarkable comeback to make into the final after the 124-run loss against India in the tournament.
The 28-year Delhi-born Virat Kohli is a batting mainstay for India, as he would be eyeing to start where from he has left against Bangladesh, in the semi-final game which was eventually won by India, comprehensively by nine wickets after Rohit Sharma registered a sublime century.
You can’t keep wicket-keeper batsman Dhoni away from his first love which he has cherished as a treasure trove of memories, before switching to cricket.
