Well, for millions of the fans in our cricket crazy nation this is wonderful news. According to a story running in the social media, over 36 Million users of the world famous site Facebook, while finalizing 11 best cricketers across the globe, have chosen five Indian cricketers for the list.

Virat Kohli is at number 2nd spot followed by Rohit Sharma (3rd), MS Dhoni (5th), Suresh Raina (10th) and Shikhar Dhawan (11th). The other prominent names of the list are AB De Villiers, Chris Gayle, Shahid Afridi, Sohail Khan, Shakib-Al-Hasan and Younus Khan.

During the period 1st January to 28th February 2015, 36 million fans worldwide exchanged more than 34 million messages among them covering every aspect. Based on this, 1 cricketer from Bangladesh, 3 from Pakistan and one each from South Africa and West Indies could secure their place in this list. This includes 7 batsmen, 1 wicketkeeper, 2 all-rounders and one pacer.

It is amazing that the fans have not found any Australian cricketer worthy of being included in the list. The other important factor is that America and Australia were among the nations wherefrom the most participants emerged.
