IPL7 is almost finished  and it saw several youngsters making name for themselves. But there were many talented players who could not get a game.

Thisera Perera: He was a pioneer in the success of Sunrisers Hyderabad  with both bat and bowl . He can hit some big blows and bowls well in the death overs. But he did not get a single game for the Kings X11 Punjab. The presence of Johnson did not help his cause as a bowler and Bailey as captain did not allow him to get a spot as a finisher.

Saurabh Tiwari: The lad who emerged from the 3rd edition of the IPL got a lucrative deal in the next auction and even made it to the Indian team. But, then he flopped for the Royal Challengers Bangalore. He was picked up by the Delhi Daredevils this season but did not get a game. He the came back to form and was among Top10 scorers in this Ranji season and lead the ranks when it came to highest six hitters. But, poor management of Delhi Daredevils ensured that he did not get a game.

Kuldeep Yadav : He emerged into the scene after a successful Under 19 World Cup. The fact that he is the first Chinaman from India made him a big name then. He was successively picked up by the Kolkata Knightriders but was perhaps unlucky. He was picked by a team which had Narine , Shakib and Piyush Chawla , which made it very difficult for him to get into the 11. Other spinners , who perhaps are not better than Kuldeep got a chance because of less competition.

Gurkeerat Singh: he first burst into the IPl scene in IPL 5 , when he finished the innings for Kings X11 , in their favour, against Deccan Chargers having the likes of Steyn and then inform ishant Sharma. Adam Gilchrist then lauded this youngster. He has been a consistent performer for Punjab in the domestic season but he did not get a game for Kings X11 Punjab. The reason is very clear , the powerhouse in the Kings X11 Punjab, both the national and the International ones.

Manpreet Juneja: A year back , he was one of the promising young talents in the domestic scene. Last year, Delhi Daredevils preferred him over Unmukt Chand in many games just speaks of his talent. He has scored 5 centuries and 6 half centuries in 20 first class games. He has the capability to hold the innings together and then launch towards the end. But, Sunrisers did not give him a single chance and should raise questions over their management over the use of local talents.
