The South African batsman AB de Villiers has been one of the best players with the bat in hand in the recent times. He has been one of the most prolific run scorers recently and seems to be able to play every shot in the book. He has shown that he can change his temperament along with the format and that he is versatile.

AB with such huge skill in the sport is all ready to release his autobiography in November this year. The book will be titled ‘AB: The Autobiography’ it was disclosed yesterday.

It is believed that AB might shed some light into the inside things during the World Cup. South Africa bowed out in the semi final against the hosts New Zealand and this book may just tell the world about the drama that was not seen on national TV during the tense semi final between the two teams. However, in the past there were many biographies that promised a lot but in the end disappointed the reader and the whole world is praying that this is not the case with ‘AB: The Autobiography’.

The South African ODI skipper has been in great form going into the World Cup and almost took his team to the finals of the event. After the World Cup defeat as well, AB was one of the star performers for the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 8th season of the IPL.

The book will be released in English and Afrikaans locally said the publisher Pan McMillan. It will also be released in the UK, US, Australia, India and also the New Zealand he added.

Speaking about his book, the maverick batsman said that his journey in the African National team has been great. He remembered his debut against West Indies 11 seasons ago and said that all these 11 season of cricket for South Africa were moments he cherished. He added that it was his privilege to be a part of the team from his debut against the Windies to the drama in the World Cup semi-final, and that he is looking forward to sharing his story with his fans.
