Andy Flower: England fans will abuse Amir

Former Zimbabwe captain and ex-England coach Andy Flower believes that Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir’s return to Test cricket at the Lord’s, where he fixed no-balls of the match in 2010, will not be an easy task as hostile England crowds will abuse him.
Pakistan will play the first Test of the four-match series at the Lord’s. Pakistan is touring England for the first time after 2010. England recently defeated South Africa at their home, and Sri Lanka, in 2015 they also defeated Australia at home.
Flower thinks the hostile Lord’s fans will give Amir a hostile reception as he will come back to Test cricket after six years.
The former Zimbabwe batsman said, “There will probably be some abuse from crowds.” “Well, he shouldn’t have done it in the first place so it’s his own fault. If he gets that stick he’s got to deal with it.”
However, Andy throws his support behind Amir to deal with it well and produce a good performance with the ball that everyone knows he is capable of. “He [Aamer] seems pretty mature,” Flower added. “He speaks well and he seems like he’s got a level head on his shoulders so he’ll be OK,” according to cricket.com.au.
Amir has made his limited over return against New Zealand in 2016 January. He impressed everyone with his bowling. In the World T20, he again impressed. But the Lord’s Test will be the first game in the longest format of the game.
In the first warm-up match, he has taken three wickets with lightning fast deliveries that took a vicious turn.
After the match against Somerset, Marcus Trescothick warned England against Amir and coach Matthew Maynard also said England batsman will find Amir difficult to play.
Recently, England captain Alastair Cook also said Amir will have to face the hostile crowd at the Lord’s.
