Arch-Rivals Pakistan Get NOC To Participate In Blind T20 World Cup In India

Tensions and talks do lure in when a cricketing tie between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is scheduled to take place on either’s land. However, much to everyone’s surprise, Pakistan has got a NOC (No Objection Certificate) this time from the government to participate in the blind T20 World Cup in India, which commences from January 31.

The 13-day tournament which ends on February 12, will see ten countries participating, including Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan, England, South Africa, Sri Lanka, West Indies, Bangladesh, Nepal and the host India itself.

Backing the reports, the neighboring nation would arrive in India by January 28, after going through the intelligence clearance prior to that.

The first match will see India locking horns with West Indies in New Delhi, while the final of the World Cup will take place in Bengaluru. Apart from them, places like Mumbai, Gujarat, Kochi, Bhubaneswar, Faridabad and Andhra Pradesh will host the matches.

The squads of the sides are yet to be announced though.
