Indian Army Jawans camped in Jammu celebrated the victory of India over arch rivals Pakistan at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium, Mirpur, Dhaka. Indian army jawans keep vigil eyes on the border to prevent infiltration of terrorist from Pakistan in Indian territories. So, as MS Dhoni hits the winning the runs the jawans started celebrate with ‘dholak’ and tricolor at their base camp.
Any match between India and Pakistani involves more than pride and emotion, so if it is cricket, the religion in India and Pakistan, the honour of entire country was in the hand of Indian players. For common Indian this perception is persistent and Jawans who guard our country could not hide their happiness.
After Indian bowlers especially Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah bundled out Pakistan for 83 runs, India suffered a blow commencing the chase as Mohammad Amir bowled a dream spell and left Rohit Sharma, Ajinkya Rahane and Suresh Raina clueless. Even Virat Kohli was ‘amazed’ by Amir’s raw pace and tight bowling. But, Virat showed his class and salvaged India shrinking ship. He and Yuvraj played a 68 runs partnership that helped India to win the match by five wickets.
