Former England Ashes winning captain Michael Vaughan has said that Australia’s rich vein of form in the ODIs has made them THE TEAM to beat in the ICC World Cup 2015

Australia thrashed Pakistan (3-0) at UAE in October and also took the revenge of the tri-series loss in Zimbabwe against South Africa by defeating them 4-1 in the ODI series at home that concluded on November 23rd. This series win against South Africa took Australia to the top of the ICC Team ODI Rankings, displacing India.

Michael Vaughan tweeted:

Australian team is scheduled to play a tri-series against India and England just before the World Cup and Vaughan believes that if Australia performs the way they are performing, then they’ll surely be crowned Champions for the fifth time in the cricketing history.
