Bangladesh To Play India and Pakistan In ICC Champions Trophy Warm-ups

In the ICC Champions Trophy warm-up matches, Bangladesh might face India and Pakistan. Bangladesh Cricket Boards operations committee chairman Akram Khan informed about Bangladesh’s warm-up games and preparations they are doing ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy in England.
Bangladesh will play Champions Trophy after an 11-year gap. Last time they played in 2006 on Indian soil when they were knocked out in the qualifying round, losing to Sri Lanka and the West Indies.
Bangladesh will travel to Sussex for a ten-day preparatory camp and then they will face Duke of Norfolk and Sussex in two warm-up games. They will also play a tri-series tournament in Ireland. New Zealand is going to be the third team in the tri-series. Akram Khan said,
“We will play a tri-series in Ireland next month, Before that we will a 10 day camp in England. We will play two 50 over matches there, One of them will be against Sussex. We will get four matches to play in Ireland before taking part in the Champions Trophy. We will play two practice matches against India and Pakistan before the tournament starts”
Bangladesh recently has impressed with their good performance and qualified for the ICC Champions Trophy. They are ranked above the West Indies in the ICC rankings. Bangladesh will face England in the opening game of Champions trophy. Bangladesh is in the Group of death with Australia, England and New Zealand. Bangladesh will have a week’s gap in between their tri-series and Champions Trophy campaign.
