The 2nd ODI between India and Bangladesh  saw some breath taking performances by India to eal a victory from the jaws of defeat.

1: This was the 4th occasion when 2 bowlers, Binny and Mohit Sharma, in this match , shared all the 10 wickets in an ODI innings.

2: This was the lowest match aggregate in an ODI , when both the teams were all out, it being 163. The previous one was 203 between Pakistan and Zimbabwe.

3: 105 is the lowest total successfully defended by India, nd third lowest in the world.

4: Taskin Ahmed becomes the 8th bowler to pick a 5 wicket haul on debut , 5 for 28. The best figures on debut is 6 for 22 by Fidel Edwards.

5: 105 is the lowest score for India against Bangladesh. Previous lowest was 191 in the 2007 World Cup.

6: This was the 4th occasion in the history of ODI cricket when India were all out by Bangladesh.

7: Taskin Ahmed becomes the 2nd bowler to pick a 5 wicket haul on debut against India. Allan Donald was the first one.

8: This was the first occasion when 5 Indian batsman were out LBW in the same innings of an ODI match.

9: Taskin Ahmed becomes the first Bangladeshi bowler to 5 wicket haul on debut.

10: 58 is Bangladesh’s lowest score in ODIs. They also scored the same number of runs in 2011 World Cup against West Indies.

11: 58 is also the lowest score by any Test playing nation against India in an ODI. Previous lowest by 65 by Zimbabwe.

12: Binny recorded the best bowling figures by an Indian in an ODI match, surpassing Anil Kumble’s 6 for 12. He took 6 wickets for just 4 runs. Phill Simmons and Courtney Walsh are the other two.

13: Binny’s bowling performance was only the 3rd time in the history of the ODI cricket when the bowler took more wickets than the runs he gave.
