BCCI has announced the Indian A team for ODI tri series involving South Africa and Australia A in Chennai and Test series aganist South Africa A today.
Currently India A is playing a four day unofficial Test against Australia A in Chennai which they lost by 10 wickets. Cheteshwar Pujara is currently leading the Indian team. Virat Kohli replaced KL Rahul. But, none of these player will feature the India A team for the next assignments as they will fly for Sri Lanka for three match Test series.
The ODI team will lead by Unmukt Chand. Among the news faces Rush Kalaria , the 22 year old medium pacer who played the 2012 U 19 World Cup, has been selected for the ODI tournament.
Meanwhile, the four day game will be lead by Ambati Rayudu.
Players for both teams are selected on basis of their IPL and Ranji performances.
Axar Patel who bowled well in the Zimbabwe series has been selected for both tournaments.
