FreeCharge, India’s frontrunner in digital payments and mobile recharges, has been officially announced by BCCI as the official on-ground partner for Pepsi IPL for a period of two years4

IPL chairman Rajeev Shukla expressed his delight over the association and said that the new partnership definitely reaffirmed the growth of Vivo Indian Premier League.He also looked forward to a mutually beneficial relationship for both the parties blossoming into a perennial one.

BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur also welcomed Freecharge and thanked their team for building a strong foundation and ensuring that the backend processes were taken care of.

COO Freecharge Govind Rajan also exclaimed ecstasy  saying FreeCharge and Vivo were both popular brands amongst the youth which made it an ideal partnership and also hinted at plans to launch a 360 degree marketing campaign.

He also exclaimed that IPL would enable Freecharge edify its brand value and the core values that it was based on not only resonated with the tournament but also with the pulse of the cricket frenzy nation, thus providing it with brand recall in over 1000 cities all over India
