The best spinner and the oldest spinner in the CWC 2105, Daniel Vettori retired from cricket after loosing to Australia in the final. Daniel now replaces Stuart Law as the coach of the franchise Brisbane Heat a team in the Big Bash.

The coach of RCB in IPL, Vettori said about coaching the Brisbane Heat that he is excited by the job and that his work with RCB which gave rewards last season has helped him become a better coach and gave him opportunities to develop his coaching career.

In a career which spanned for 3 decades saw Vettori score 7000 runs and pick 705 wickets and is regarded as one of the greatest NZ player ever. Vettori said that he is please with what has happened so far and that he is ready for the next step. He felt that he was happy building up to the next season.

Vettori who found a place in the team of the tournament at the CWC 2015 was praised by Queensland cricket manager Brett Jones. He said that it was always great to have some one like Dan and said that he hopes that Vettori helps the BBH lift the title this season. He felt that it was a get to gether for the parties involved as Vettori has already played for Queensland bound team.
