Cheeky Dig: David Warner Retweets Harbhajan Singh’s India-Australia Prediction Story After Pune Win
Feb 27, 2017 at 6:24 PM
Soon after Australia register their 333-run win in the four-match series opener in Pune on Saturday, Australian opening batsman David Warner took to Twitter to take a dig at the Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh, who had earlier predicted Australia will lose the series either by 4-0 or 3-0.
Without describing anything on the social media, the 30-year-old left-handed opening batsman David Warner went on to troll Harbhajan by retweeting a story filed by cricket.com.au which goes by the title of: ‘Worst Aussie team to go to India: Harbhajan’.
Before the start of the four-match Test series, the veteran Indian off-spinner in his interview, earlier this month, stated it was the weakest ever Australian side to tour India while adding the visitors would be lucky to get a draw against India.
“In my opinion, looking at the composition, this is the weakest Australian side to tour India. I have played against some of the best Australian sides. I don’t think this team has the wherewithal to cope with a quality Indian side in the Indian conditions. It can again be 4-0 like 2013 season,” Harbhajan was quoted as saying by PTI before the start of the series.
Harbhajan, who is known as the ‘Turbanator’ also, took to Twitter to congratulate Smith-led Australia for their complete dominance before seeing himself getting trolled again.
Take a bow @stevesmith49 that's an outstanding inn on that pitch actually no pitch..where it looks difficult to play every ball..IndvsAus

Let’s break it into the numbers for you; Australia had registered their Test win after 4,502 days since winning the four-match series by 2-1 in 2004.
The 36-year-old Harbhajan has also blamed the Pune pitch which was dry before praising Steven Smith and Co. for putting up a spectacular show in Pune against formidable India.
Credit to @CricketAus 4 playing unbelievable well on tht wicket.let's hope we play on good tracks frm here onwards nd get th right results
