The 7th match of the CLT20 was played between Kolkata Knight riders and Lahore Lions . Kolkata Knightriders won the game by 4 wickets , with 3 balls to spare. Here is the list of hits and flops of the match.

Hits of the match

1:Sunil Narine: The go to man for KKR. He has been the difference for KKR. Slowing it down in the middle overs and then picking up 3 wickets , giving away just 9 runs in his 4 overs. This did prevent Lahore Lions from putting up a big score.

2: Gautam Gambhir: He gave KKR a strong foundation and 60 runs of just 47 balls . He along with Uthappa ensured that KKR don’t lose any early wicket and they led them to victory.

3: Kuldeep Yadav: It was the first time that he got his chance to play for KKR. He proved the faith of the management and did cause a lot of problems for Lahore Lions. he was difficult to read and he went for jusst 21 runs in his 4 overs and picked up a wicket.

4: Robin Uthappa: He along with Gautam Gambhir provided a solid start to KKR and took the game away for Lahore Lions . He scored 46 runs of just 34 balls , which also included 2 sixes.

5: Umar Akmal: Lahore Lions’s innings was going nowhere till Umar Akmal provided it the spark. When the team was struggling against the KKR spin attack, he showed them the way and scored 40 runs of just 24 balls.

Flops of the match:

1:Mohd Hafeez: Hafeez started the innings in his typcal way and took good time to settle down . But after taking up too many balls , he got out instead of accelerating and it did put a lot of pressure on the next batsman. he scored just 9 rins in 15 balls.

2: Andre Russel: The star of the show for KKR in their previous match, Russel, was very expensive with the ball and could not do anything with the bat. He gave away 38 runs in his alloted 4 overs.

3: Pat Cummins: He is the leader of the pace attack and is yet to produce anything significant so far in the tournament. Even today, he went for 38 runs in his 4 overs.

4:Piyush Chawla: He was excellent with the ball in the last match but in this match, he was taken for cleaners by Umar Akmal . HE was dropping it very short , giving Akmal ample time to  rock back on the back foot and pull it over mid wicket. He gave away 35 runs in 4 overs.

5:Aizaz Cheema: The Pakistan International discard could not do anything with the new ball and went wicketless initially. He picked 2 wickets but it was way too late and he even went for plenty , giving 42 runs in his 4 overs.
