The 4th match of the CLT20 2014 is between Perth Scorchers and Dolphins. Perth Scorchers are from Australia and Dolphins are from South Africa.  The match between Perth Scorchers and Dolphins will start at 4pm today at PCA  Stadium Mohali. Here is the preview of Perth Scorchers vs Dolphins match. The pitch did provide assistance to the spinners but was otherwise a batting paradise. The match being a day one will eliminate all chances of dew being a factor.

Perth Scorchers:

They  have had to suffer some blows due to injuries. With Shaun Marsh already out of the lineup because of the injury , their fast bowling spearhead Nathan Coulter Nile will also miss this match because of injury.  Perth Scorchers did participate in CLT20 last year also but failed to leave any impression. The team will be captained by experienced batsman Adam Voges and have some useful players out there who can change the complexion of the game and Mithcell Marsh being the most dangerous of them. he can contribute with both bat and ball.

The team has got 3 spinners but it will be tough for them to leave any impression. Brad Hogg failed last time around and Ashton Agar was employed to bat up the order , just to fit him in the lineup. Yasir Arafat will lead the pace attack and as far as batting is concerned , they dont seem to have much fire in the line up.

The team will have to expect their spinners to come good against the African side as the pace bowling options are limited .

Dolphins: They look a more balanced side on the paper , with a mix of both youngsters and experienced players. Morne Van Wyk will be leading the side and will provide a more attacking top order batting. Van Jaarsveld will hold the key in the middle order and will look to regain his lost touch. The fast bowling will be headed by Kyle Abott , who impressed everyone with his pace during his debut against Pakistan where he took 9 wickets. Keshav Maharaj will lead the spin attack and had a good run in the domestic competition.

Overall, the Dolphins have a bunch of guys who can contribute with both bat and ball and are more than just bits and pieces cricketers. They will hold an edge over the Perth Scorchers , who have had some major injury issues in the team.

The match result should be in favour of Dolphins with 60-40 .
