Cricket Commentator Mark Nicholas Rushed To Hospital Again

Cricketer turned commentator Mark Nicholas was once again rushed to hospital on Wednesday after he fell sick inside the commentary box during the third day of the second Test between Australia and Pakistan in Melbourne.

It’s the second time in three days Mark Nicholas was taken to hospital after he complained about abdominal pains and over sweating.

The 59-year-old was though discharged earlier after tests, with an employee from Channel Nine reporting that he was in ‘good spirits’.

Mark, who missed out commentating on Tuesday, came back to the box the following day but was carried off back to the hospital after he suffered from the same symptoms as reported by a Cricket Australia spokesman.

Mark Nicholas, former Hampshire skipper, has been a part of Channel Nine commentary team from over a decade now and tours alongside Australia for the overseas series too. For his county club, he played 377 first-class matches and led Hampshire for over ten years. After retiring in 1995, he tried his hands at Broadcasting and Journalism, which paved his way into the elite panel of Channel Nine.
