IPL 9 came to end with Sunrisers being crowned new champions. They defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 8 runs at M Chinnaswamy yesterday night. There was some great cricket on the show with excellent batting, bowling and fielding efforts which kept the crowd on their toes. In the 60 matches played in the tournament, few matches went to the last ball with the bat and ball.

  1. Gujarat Lions vs Mumbai Indians(16th April , Mumbai)

The match between Gujarat Lions and Mumbai Indians was played on 16th April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai . This was the 9th match of the tournament. Gujarat Lions won the toss and choose to field. Gujarat Lions bowlers were spot on with their line and lengths not allowing Mumbai Indians batsmen to score big runs. The top scorer for Mumbai Indians was Parthiv Patel who scored 34 runs. Gujarat Lions restricted Mumbai Indians to 143. Chasing 144, Gujarat Lions batsmen were looking on course for a big win but a flurry of wickets halted their progress. Aaron Finch played match winning knock scoring 67 not out winning the match on the last ball.
