India vs Bangladesh will face off each other in one-off Test in Hyderabad starting February 9.

Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI) have officially announced the dates of a historic series as Bangladesh is set to tour Team India next year.

The series was long delayed due to the tight schedule of Team India as they are scheduled to play as many as 17 Test matches over the course of 2016/17 season. The series between India and Bangladesh was signed as part of Future Tour Programs.

The tour was initially planned to be played out in August but with Indian team having a hectic schedule it was rumored to be postponed to January. There came a point that the series would not even be possible in the hectic schedule of the current season as it might get postponed to the next season.

However, BCCI and BCB have come to an understanding and the historic one-off test would be played from February 8-12, 2017 in Rajiv Gandhi international Stadium at Hyderabad.

This would be the first time Bangladesh will be travelling to India to play a competitive game in a bilateral series against India in their 30 year cricket history.
