Defending Champions India carried on from where they left against Pakistan as they demolished South Africa by 130 runs at Melbourne. Shikhar Dhawan and Ajinkya Rahane lead India’s batting charge with the former scoring his 1st World Cup hundred and the latter playing a classy 79-run knock almost till the end of the innings and taking the team’s total to 307.
In reply, all Indian bowlers made it hard for South Africa’s batsmen to score and with very good support from the fielders, South Africa stumbled on the score of 177.
