India took over the control of the Galle Test as Indian bowlers- R Ashiwn, Ishant Sharma, Varun Aaron and Amit Mishra- decimated Sri Lanka. Ishant got one wicket, but he helped India to get the first break through.

Kohli introduced R Ashwin at the 12th over. Kumar Sangakkara fell to his simple delivery at silly point as KL Rahul caught a brilliant catch. Ashwin bambzolled Sri Lanka by his 6 for 46. Since the tea break India 128 runs for 2 wickets. KL Rahul was the first man to fall as Dhamika Prasad tarpped LBW. Rohit Sharma coming at No. 3 got trapped LBW twice by Angelo Mathews, he was safe for the first time as Mathews delivered a no ball.

Shikhar Dhawan is fluent with the bat. He scored 53 runs from 103 balls with six fours. Virat, who has chance to leave early, but Sri Lanka fielder faild to grab the opportunity. Kohli left the crease with Dhawan with smile as he and Dhawan finish the days job with a 100 run partnership. Kohli has good chance to start the series with win, if some thing omnious does not happen.

With wicket in hand Virat Kohli and Shikhar, look solid, should cross the Sri Lanka’s paltry 183 as early as possible, then they should look to score the lead as much as possible.

Dhawan should think about his foot work against the spin. Tomorrow morning the dry Galle pitch will help the bowlers in the first one and half hour. So, He and Kohli shoud be careful about it.

Sri Lanka will try come back in the match, which seems almost impossible, but anything can happen in the second inings if Sangakkara goes on to score big innings. India should bat through out the day and keep their wicket safe. India should bat till third day lunch.

Two and half days is enough to beat Sri Lanka, by wickets if not by runs and innings.
