Denesh Ramdin blasts over the new chief selector with a series of tweets

The 31 years old West Indies wicket-keeper batsman Denesh Ramdin has blasted over the new chairman of selectors Courtney Browne with a series of tweets. It seems that Ramdin has been informed that he will not be selected for the upcoming Test series against India. The West Indies board is yet to announce a squad for the Test series but looks like a timely message has been sent to the players who will not be considered. Browne took over as the chairman of selectors last month replacing Clive Lloyd.

A baffled and angry Ramdin could not control himself and took Social media to criticise Browne. He starts by mentioning his batting average in last two Innings of a Test match against Australia. Ramdin scored 59 runs in the fourth innings of the second test against Australia at M.C.G. followed by a 62 in the first innings of third and final Test match played at Sydney Cricket Ground. The West Indies team lost the Test series a margin of 2-0 as the third and last match could not be completed due to continuous rain. Only 150 overs were bowled in the rain-marred third test match. Australian Captain Steve Smith made a proposal to the West Indies captain to complete the test match but Holder refused to accept Smith’s proposal.

Ramdin continues to criticise the chairman by taunting Browne that he has a batting average of 16.12 and a person of this average is saying that Ramdin’s average is bad. He adds the word Shameless to his comments. He also highlights the fact that Browne has never scored a century in international cricket.
Ramdin also mentions the special dropped catch. In the years 1995, Courtney Browne dropped Steve Waugh when he was batting on the score of 47; Waugh went on to score a double century in the Test match.

The tweets clearly show that Ramdin is frustrated by the fact that he will not be considered for the upcoming Test series against India which will play in the month of July-August.
Indian team has already left the country to participate in the bilateral series against West Indies. The Indian team will kick off the tour with a practice match against West Indies Boards XI followed by another practice match against the same team before finally starting off with the international fixtures.

Here are the tweets where Ramdin lashed out at Courtney Brown – Chairman of selectors West Indies.
