After the win against Ireland in the Pool B of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 at seddon Park in Hamilton MS Dhoni became the skipper with most capped ODIs. He left Mohammad Azharuddin behind who had had 174 caps when he lead his side to win his 175th game as skipper.

Ricky Ponting of Australia tops the list of the skippers with most win by winning 230 matches as skippers followed by Stephen Fleming of New Zealand with 218 matches. Dhoni stands fifth in the same list and is just 3 win behind to equalise with Allan Border of Australia.

As India chased the target of 260 scored by Ireland with loss of only 2 wickets thus winning by 8 wickets to record their fifth win and is still leading the Pool B of ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. Shikhar Dhawan scored his 8th ODI century and 2nd in this world cup while Rohit Sharma scored his 25th ODI fifty. The pair shared an Indian World Cup record opening stand of 174 runs. Ireland chose to bat after winning the toss, Niall O’Brien made 75 runs while skipper William Porterfield made 67. Mohammad Shami finished with 3-41.
