The Indian Premier League has helped the fans in India get close to the top cricketing stars from all over the world over the years.

One of the most popular player has been the Caribbean hero Chris Gayle.

Since making his appearance in the first edition in Black and Gold, Gayle has been an imminent personality during the months when the tournament is played and is loved by a many fans in the country.

And it is now understood that the 33-year old is set to steal some time in India’s prime time television program ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’.

The show which has been gaining popularity by the day in the Indian market has already hosted a number of stars from the cricketing field including the likes of Wasim Akram and Dwayne Bravo along with other sports stars like Sania Mirza and Saina Nehwal.

The host of the show, Kapil Sharma posted a picture alongside Chris Gayle on the sets of the show on social media site Twitter confirming that the episode will be aired in the upcoming days in the Colors channel.

Gayle himself has always been known to bring humor in everyday lifestyle and the show will provide the perfect opportunity for him to bring smiles to many faces.

However, Gayle has never been too far away from a controversy and the administrative team of the show will make sure that they do not telecast anything the player said that can upset the viewers.

In the past, Gayle’s national team-mate Dwayne Bravo also made an appearance on the show and the episode that was aired hit maximum TRPs.

But with a complete entertainer in Gayle being a part of the show, surely will get the viewers hooked on to their screens.
