West Indian cricketer Dwayne Bravo has responded on his controversial caricature by Adidas through his official Twitter account.
After achieving 300 wickets by Dwayne Bravo in his T20 career, for celebrating this, Adidas cricket posted a controversial caricature in their official Twitter account and added on it “Celebrating #cricket like none other. With 300 T20 wickets, @DJBravo47 is truly a #CHAMPION! #teamadidas”.
However, Bravo’s depiction in that caricature was not good as many people were calling it racist. The caricature went viral on the social media and many people reacted angrily to that post.
Even Bravo commented on that post by saying through his Twitter account, “Fans, thank you for bringing @adidascricket’s post to my attention. I will be responding soon.”

Later, Adidas deleted their post and further apologised in a follow-up post by saying, “We see Bravo’s caricature has upset many. Apologies to those whose sentiments got hurt, this wasn’t intended. He’s our Champion.—#teamadidas”.
