As if the brawl outside a pub in Bristol involving Ben Stokes and Alex Hales was not enough to overshadow the Ashes, some other England players have now found themselves in a new storm after spending their weekend in Amsterdam which will not go down well with the board as well as the fans.
The players are currently in the Netherlands to celebrate Jos Buttler’s upcoming nuptials. Buttler along with his friends left for the Netherlands after England beat Windies in the ODI series.
According to a report in The Daily Mail, the England stars involving limited-overs captain Eoin Morgan were seen roaming the streets in a drunken state and also harassed a moped driver. Fast-bowler Steve Finn was also seen throwing a sex toy in the air before catching it.
Buttler got accompanied by 20 friends who were playing with a sex toy, as they threw it up in the air and bowled it like a cricket ball. The England wicketkeeper and Finn were then seen talking to one of the prostitutes.

The group reportedly spent a majority of the day drinking before deciding to take a tour of the city’s famous canal on a barge. The news outlet claimed the most of the members of the party group were finding it tough to stay on their feet while staggering off the boat as some came perilously close to falling into the water. In fact, Buttler had to be helped back onto dry land before he ended up slumping against a wall.
Sex toy then took centre stage at the stag party as the group tried to use it like a cricket ball and threw it in the air, catching it while few also bowled with it.
England players’ controversial weekend at Amsterdam has come after England director and former captain Andrew Strauss suggested players to stay away from high jinks. That was the reason behind Test captain Joe Root and fast bowler Stuart Broad’s absence from the party.
Strauss had advised the players in the aftermath of the brawl involving Stokes and Alex Hales both of whom got currently suspended until further notice.
