The tour will not be an easy one for the visitors as in past one and half year the Bangladesh cricket has gone a major change and has defeated each and every opposition in a bilateral series played in this period. This all started in April 2015 as Pakistan was the first team to fell prey to the Bangladeshi boys. In the three matches ODI series, Bangladesh team white washed the visitors. Bangladesh continued their winning habit against India followed by South Africa and Zimbabwe. Bangladesh dominated each and every opponent.

Though in the multi-day format the problem still remains the same as the team lost the test series against Pakistan and escaped a loss against India. The two matches test series against South Africa was marred with heavy rainfall.
Bangladesh and England last met in the world cup 2015 where Bangladesh defeated the England team to qualify for the quarter -finals. England has best chance to take revenge on this tour.
