Indian cricket ‘God’ Sachin Tendulkar discussed how his powerful Hindu faith and his elder brother have been to his startling cricket career as he released his autobiography on 5th November, 2014. The long awaited book ‘Playing It My Way’ launched in Mumbai by Sachin Tendulkar said a throng that he missed the moment that his team won the 2011 ICC World Cup because he was superstitious and he was worshipping god that time. He said that regrettably he missed that best end moment but it was all worth waiting for. He added that he was present there inside the room but he was praying.

Last year Sachin played his 200th and final Test match putting full stop in an international career spanning nearly 25 years during which made him the all-time leading Test and one-day batsman.

The 41 year old man who got the record of scoring 100 international centuries, said he understood that there are definite things which the Almighty controls and we can only go there and present our best. He added faith has given him inner power and a new aspect to my life.

Sachin Tendulkar also said about his intimacy to his elder brother Ajit. Sachin said that his elder brother introduced him to his childhood cricket coach. He also added that from the beginning when he started playing cricket he would travel with Sachin and he would be continuously in touch with him. He told they have lived this dream together. He knew that whenever He went into bat, virtually he was there with him, even though they were miles and miles apart.

Tendulkar was presented on stage at his book launch with his elder brother Ajit and his wife Anjali. Anjali confessed that she once ran screaming after the 17 year old cricketer when she first saw him at the airport because he was cute. Anjali said Sachin was so embarrassed that time.

He has also said about Greg Chappell’s behavior as India’s cricket coach. He said that Chappell tried remove skipper Rahul Dravid before the 2007 ICC World Cup but Chappell has impetuously denied.
