It was not the end which the Indian team expected as they the Indian bowlers bowled beautifully in the first innings to wrap up Windies innings on a low score so as to win the match and seal the series but rain god has something else destined for the team and it went onto rain till the match was abandoned.

The Indian bowlers taking wickets the only moment to enjoy in the whole match.

The centurion of the last match, Evin Lewis was forced to play a pull shot off Mohammed Shami but he couldn’t play it properly and gave an easy catch to Amit Mishra. The other opening batsman Johnson Charles followed him after 26 runs. Charles was looking good at the start and he decided  to attack Mishra from the very first ball and ended up  giving a catch to Ajinkya Rahane at long on. He needed some more power to clear the ropes.

After a period of 5 months, the Indian team was finally able to dismiss Lendl Simmons. It was Ashwin who trapped and confused him. Simmons got so much confused that he slipped on the pitch and was dismissed stumped. The experienced campaigner Martin Samuel was next one to go on a score of 5. Surprisingly he was there on there on the case for a period of 27 minutes.

Kiron pollard, who was eyeing for a good total but went off early dismissed by Ashwin. The team continued to lose wickets and half of team was back in the pavilion before crossing the 100 run mark.

The final four wickets wee as easy as you like as Bhunveshwar dismissed Russel of a full toss, Russell tried to get past the rope. Mishra added to woes by getting out one more. Braithwaite and Mishra were net one came in bowled.
