After yesterday’s fire incident in MS Dhoni led Jharkhand team’s hotel, smi-final was shifted to FerozShah Kotla stadium. First it was scheduled in Model sports complex, Palam. The security for Jharkhand team is beefed up after the match got shifted. On Friday morning players were told to stay back in room as there was smoke and fire in hotel’s ground floor lobby.
DDCA official Ravinder Manchanda told PTI

“We have had discussion with the Police authorities and we are expecting a crowd turnout of around 3000 people. Dhoni playing a domestic game always makes it more special”

Jharkhand will play against Bengal in second semi-final of Vijay Hazare trophy, Tamilnadu had already qualified for the finals and winner of second semi-final will play Tamilnadu in Finals. Vijay Hazare trophy is scheduled this Monday at Ferozshah Kotla stadium. Fans will be excited to see MS Dhoni playing in domestic matches after a long gap.
