Chris Cairns has finally broken his silence over the match fixing issues and broke free free to the media in Auckland on Friday. Chris Cairns was in England where he was investigated  by the Metropolitan Police, the ECB and the ICC’s Anti-Corruption Unit in London. He said that he has nothing to take with this fixing issus and his name is just being dragged into his without any proper evidence.

After Chris Cairns returned from England, he came with a pre – prepared statement stating that excluding Vincent and McCullum , there were 2 other former players and 1 of the current New Zealand squad who have given their statement to the ICC. But none of the players have put a direct allegations against him(Chris Cairns).

Chris Cairs also has raised the fact that why it took McCullum , more than 3 years to bring this issue.  For , Lou Vincent’s comments , Cairs said that he wants to get more and more people into this , just to dilute his sins. He added that he helped Vincent during his stressful days but Vincent just betrayed him.

The two former players are assumed to be Stephen Fleming and Daniel Vettori and the current one is perhaps Kyle Mills, but this is still very unclear.
