Ever since Mohammad Aamir made a comeback in competitive cricket, there have been people with divided views about him. While a few of his own teammates believe that Aamir should not be welcomed in international cricket after tainting Pakistan, there are few who support his inclusion. Recently, former Indian batsman and TV commentator Sanjay Manjrekar openly supported Aamir and praised the left arm pacer on Twitter.

Aamir has taken his strides in returning to international cricket with a stint in the Bangladesh Premier League. Aamir struck the headlines with an unbelievable performance in his very first game when he troubled the batsmen. Aamir was once again in the news when he castled Pakistan’s T20I captain and flamboyant all-rounder Shahid Afridi, during a BPL game.

In a couple of tweets made by Manjrekar, the former Indian batsman is seen supporting Aamir, and praising him for his abilities. In his second tweet, Manjrekar went on to compare Aamir with former Pakistani greats Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis. The outspoken TV commentator mentioned that Aamir’s unique aspect was his wrist movement, which made his bowling quite lethal.

Below, are the two tweets, in which Sanjay Manjrekar is seen praising Mohammad Aamir.
