Galle Test Document Reveals How India Tick all the Boxes in Sri Lanka’s Bilateral Series

Team India’s one of the key reasons for being sumptuously dominant over injury-hit hosts Sri Lanka, in the three-match Test series opener at Galle International Stadium has been revealed, according to a leaked micro-blogging post.

However, pragmatically, the reports revealed a planned document was found pasted inside the dressing room of the Galle where the visitors have had faced the Lions between July 26 to 30.

Pertinently, the all-round show from visitors broke the back of hosts in a bid to lead the series with 1-0 while claiming the series opener by 304 runs inside four days, as the formidable India went on to white-wash the hosts 3-0 in the similar fashion.

In the second Test at Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in Colombo, India convincingly won the series by winning the match by an innings and 53 runs.

At Pallekele International Cricket Stadium the Kohli’s side bagged the third and final Test of the Seagram’s Royal Stag series by an innings and 171 runs.

Pertinently, a social media user Hugo Lewis, whose information read as: ‘International Series Director, Red Bull Campus Cricket,’ has revealed the note of work on his Twitter handle on September 14 (Thursday) which was also retweeted by one of Sri Lankan’s mainstream cricket writers.

The detailed note from the Indian camp revealed the strength and eventually weakness of at least eight Lankan players including the quality batsmen in the line-up.

Interestingly, as the details were made public following the post of unattended notes – it is further seen as the rarest of the rare cases to access the team’s chalked-out plan after leaving the hosting nation while bossing the game.

The thorough assessment is believed to be prepared by the newly-appointed coach Ravi Shastri, who was the Team Director in 2015, and the skipper Virat Kohli.

The notes further revealed the visitors had not shown any complacency against a side which has struggled in the five-day format.

Not to be considered as a secret plan, as it the traditional task and routine for every team management to work on to come out as the best side against the opposition in gentleman’s game which has primarily witnessed changes taking place in the rulebook too.

The World No. 1 India-led by Virat Kohli is enjoying the remarkable Test success and ranking position for over a period of the year.

India completed a clean sweep of the limited-overs’ series against the Islanders 5-0, in the five-match series, before wrapping up the bilateral tour with a seven-wicket win, in an only Twenty20 game at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo on September 6.

Concluding, the 45-odd day tour witness the hosts used as many as five captains owing to the multiple injuries, as Upul Tharanga was handed over a slow-over ban by world cricket board ICC.

The series scoreline in Sri Lanka read as 9-0, as India is ready to face competitive Australia, in the first ODI of five-match series on Sunday (September 17) in Chennai.

Here’s what the detailed document for Sri Lankan batters reads:
