Legends like Brian Lara, Sourav Ganguly, Ian Chappell don’t see Pakistan making the Cricket World Cup Semi-finals. Pakistan will face Australia in Adelaide on Friday and both teams are expected to play aggressive cricket in oval.

Ganguly is guessing an India-Australia semi-final on 26th mar in Sydney. Pakistan has not performed with consistency in this world cup and has clearly not impressed legends like Chappell and Ganguly.

With declining reputation of the Pakistan’s cricket after their victory of 1992 under the captain Imran Khan. Ganguly hinted that he does not consider India versus Pakistan match as a derby game anymore.

Ganguly said on star sports that India vs Australia semi-finals would be bigger match then India vs Pakistan Semi-final. He also added that India vs Australia would be match between quality players.

Chappell told NDTV on Thursday that Australia have number of match winner players, according to him Pakistan’s batting will not be able to cope against the pace of Starc and Johnson. He added that Pakistan’s bowling has always been their strength but have been handicapped because of injuries.

Brian Lara also gave his views about the match and said that Pakistan has not been that convincing throughout the tournament but they can surprise Australia if they bowl first and get the hosts out for a small total.
