After a disastrous tour of England, India are set to travel down under for a four match Test Series which begins in December. Former Aussie Pace Glenn McGrath has predicted that if the Indians fail to improve in all aspects, they might face yet another whitewash from Michael Clarke and Co. McGrath told ESPNcricinfo that India would be immense pressure if the Aussies play with the same intensity as their 5-0 thrashing of England during the 2014 Ashes.

McGrath added “If Australia play anywhere near as they have been, then they are going to be really tough to beat. To be honest, I can’t see India winning a Test match, so my prediction is as it usually is – I predict Australia to win and win 4-0. It’s up to the Indian team to prove me wrong and to somehow find some way to turn around their form. Their fielding, their batting, their bowling [to a degree], they’ve got a lot of work to do in the next few months.”

He also said that England toured Australia last year and were whitewashed by the Aussies, courtesy some devastating stuff from Mitchell Johnson. India toured England and lost 3-1. So it will be difficult for India to avoid yet another whitewash in the hands of Aussies. He also termed India’s performance in England as ordinary and praised Bhuvneshwar Kumar for his brilliant performance in England. The Aussie speedster also said India has a very good Pace attack with Ishant promising a lot and Pankaj has a lot a potential. He even enjoyed Varun Aaron coming in and bowling at a raw pace.

India had welcomed Australia with some rank turners when the Oz toured India in 2012 and whitewashed the visitors. So, the Indians might except some green tops which has offers swing and bounce. The Aussies will look for a revenge and have already started the mind games four months before the schedule.
