Harbhajan Singh Lashes Out At India Team Selection For England Series

Veteran off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has slammed the selectors for ignoring Karun Nair in the squad for the upcoming limited-overs series against England.
The Karnataka batsman, who has proved his worth as a limited-overs batsman in the IPL, stole the show in the recently-concluded Test series against England when he scored a triple century in the Chennai Test. However, the monumental knock was not enough for him to secure a place in the team and it has left Harbhajan Singh disappointed.
The off-spinner took to Twitter to vent his frustration and questioned the selectors’s decision. He tweeted: “Hello guys Wher is Karun Nair?? Who just scored 300 vs England..he isn’t part of even practice games against Eng. Forget ODI. Wah kamal hai.”
Meanwhile, Yuvraj Singh has returned to the ODI team. The southpaw, who last played an ODI in 2013, was rewarded for a good show in this year’s Ranji Trophy where he scored 672 runs in 5 matches.
Elated with the surprise recall, Yuvraj took to Twitter to express his happiness before deleting the tweet. He tweeted:
Shikhar Dhawan, R Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul and Bhuvneshwar Kumar – all of whom missed the team’s last series against New Zealand either due to injury or were rested- have also returned to the ODI team.
Note: The tweet can be a fake one as it is presently not available on Harbhajan’s Twitter handle.
