Harbhajan Singh wishes Ajit Agarkar in ‘Bhajji style’ on his birthday

Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh is a familiar personality on social media platform Twitter. The Punjabi cricketer engages himself actively in debates on social media and never shies away from expressing himself. From taking a stand on a social issue to wishing his fellow cricketers on their birthdays, Harbhajan Singh has done it all on Twitter.

Harbhajan is eyeing an international comeback for India, as he previously appeared in the international fixture in March 2016 against the United Arab Emirates at Dhaka.

The dramatic off-spinner gave us an example of the same when he took the micro-blogging side to his once teammate Ajit Agarkar. Singh posted a photo of himself with Agarkar from a party and both the cricketers looked dashing in it. He captioned the tweet with a beautiful caption mentioning Agarkar as his ‘roomie’ for obvious reasons. Both the cricketers have spent several years in the Indian dressing room together and have been long-time buddies.

Singh also added a bit of humour to his caption by asking some gift from the right-hand fast bowler. The tweet read “Happy birthday Roomie @imAagarkar…could you send me something plz. Wish you all the happiness brother..#TopFella“.

Ajit Agarkar celebrates his birthday today on 4th December as he steps into the 39th year of his life. The cricketer was born in the year 1977 and has taken 349 international wickets for India. Since making his debut for the Indian national team in 1998 against the Aussies, Agarkar went on to claim 288 scalps in his One Day international career. His last ODI came against England at the Kennington Oval in September 2007.

Agarkar was a highly successful bowler for India in the limited over formats and was clinical in providing breakthroughs. However, his Test career was not as glorifying as his ODI one. Featuring in 26 Test matches, Agarkar managed to pick up 58 wickets in the longest format of the game. His last Test came against Pakistan in the year of 2006.
