Hardik Pandya Released From Indian Squad To Play Vijay Hazare Trophy

The Indian team management has released all-rounder Hardik Pandya from the Test squad to let them participate in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, which kicked off from today across five centres in the country.

Pandya is not the part of the playing XI for the first Test at Pune. The second Test of the series kick off from March 4 at Bangalore, so he will have enough time to play a couple of games for his state and then again join the national squad in Bangalore prior to the Test.

Hardik Pandya played the first game of the tournament for Baroda against Railways where he just scored four runs.
