However, the reports suggested Harmanpreet stated she is doing all right, but the pictures revealed the explosive batter was holding the right arm while discussing the injury with team coach Tushar Arothe.

The 28-year-old batting all-rounder Harmanpreet was seen icing the shoulder, as the Punjab-born cricketer was surrounded by teammates alongside coach while team physio attended the batter after injury scare seemed to have added fear in the camp, before taking the field for eyeing the prestigious trophy.

In the bowling department, fast bowler Jhulan Goswami has a major role to play on the big day, after picking nine wickets in the tournament.

Following the splendid show with the bat, Harmanpreet was praised effusively after flaying the Australian bowlers all-round the park by smashing 20 boundaries and seven sixes. The batter scored at the strike-rate of 148.69.

Relying on off-spinning bowling, Harmanpreet has also claimed five wickets. The right-handed batter is touted as one of the star players in the women cricket following his agreesive stroke-making particularly in ODI format.

Interestingly, the Women in Blue also faced Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar — a left-arm fast bowler, during the practice session prior to the ICC Women’s World Cup final.

India has an edge over home-based team owing to the league stage 35-run win at Derby on July 24.
