Test cricket is for the great’s. Test cricket is the real game for cricket, which proves how cool and composed a player can be. All great players are judged by their performance in Test cricket. Players like Brian Lara, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and many more are considered as greatest Test players of all time. But scoring runs in sixes in Test cricket is very much rare but there are various players those who scored most of their test run in sixes.  Players like Adam Gilchrist, Virender Shewag, Chris Gayle has hit most number of sixes in test cricket. But below are list of all players who scored most of their test run in sixes.
1.Tim Southee– He is a New Zealand cricketer . He is a right arm fast bowler and hard hitting lower order batsmen. He played 32 matches and 51 innings scoring 876 runs with two fifties and hitting 45 sixes. He scored 30.82 percent of his run in sixes. Tim Southee is a tail ender so is able to play free cricket and score runs in sixes. So Tim Southee is in top of the list.

2. Shoaib Akhtar-The former Pakistani cricketer, who is rated as one of the fastest bowler in modern cricket. Other than bowling he was a useful tail ender who could hit the bowl really hard. He played 46 matches and 67 innings. Shoaib scored 544 runs with no fifties but he scored this run in 22 sixes. He scored 24.26 percent of his run in sixes. Shoaib, coming last to bat made it easy for him to score runs in sixes. So Shoaib comes second in this list.

3. Michael Anthony Holding– He is a former West Indies cricketer. He is one of the fastest bowler  ever to play Test cricket. As he took the crease at the end, he scored most of his run in sixes. He played 60 matches and 76 innings scoring 910 runs. He scored six fifties. Most of his run came through sixes, hitting 36 sixes. His percentage of runs scored in sixes is 23.74. So he comes third in this list.

4. Umar Gul– The Pakistani cricketer who is a right arm fast medium bowler. He can hit the bowl really hard at the end of innings and has shown his       great hitting skill in many matches for Pakistan. He has played 47 matches and 67 innings scoring 577 runs. He has scored one fifty and hit 20               sixes in his career. He has scored 20.80 percent of his run in sixes. So he is in 4th of this list.

5. Mohammad Rafique– He is Bangladeshi cricketer and was the leading wicket-taker  for Bangladesh in Test cricket. He could hit the ball hard at the end of the innings. He has played 33 matches and 63 innings scoring 1059 runs. He scored five fifties. He did hit 34 sixes in his career. Rafique scored 19.26 percent of his runs in sixes. So he is in the bottom of the list.
