Shakib al Hasan, the top ranked all-rounder at the moment in ODI cricket, has expressed his desire for India to tour Bangladesh in the near future.
The southpaw, who had an average 2015 World Cup, saw his side crash out against India in the quarter-finals but not before putting up a gritty display against England and successfully knocking them out. However, when Shakib was asked about the incident regarding Mustafa Kamal, Shakib chose to not to comment on it and add on to the controversy.
He added that he is not thinking anything negative about his nations cricket and that the things like the Kamal fued would not happen to Bangladesh cricket,
When asked about the huge support the Tigers got at the CWC world cup this year in Australia, Shakib said that huge support is a great thing for them and that it was great to see. He also added that he was happy that his team was consistent in the World Cup and that even in matches they lost, they went down fighting and showed the spirit that is needed at the highest level of the sport. He also went on to say that these are very good signs for Bangladesh cricket and that this would help them grow in the years to come.
