Vindoo Dara Singh while speaking to a news channel was heard saying that he did bet in cricket but without money referring to what other 1.5 crore Indians do. However, Vindoo did not respond to any call or message by TOI.

The panel set up by the Supreme Court to probe malpractices in cricket including spot fixing has submitted their report to the Supreme Court. The next hearing in the Court is on November 10.

The panel submitted the forensic report which clearly says that the voice in the tape is of CSK‘s prime man Gurunath Meiyappan and Vindoo Dara Singh. This is be an evidence in the Court that Meiyappan had been sending him important details like match scores, probable results etc.

The officers also have said that they have the voice samples of the bookies. In September 2013, the panel sent chargesheet to 22 of those suspected to be involved in spot fixing, including Vindoo and Guru.
