ICC bans Bangladesh bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny

  • Bangladesh suffered a big blow before their next match against Australia as bowler Taskin Ahmed and off-spinner Arafat Sunny banned from bowling anymore in World T20 and in international cricket. Taskin and Sunny were reported by ICC referee during the qualifying round in Dharamshala.

Bangladesh lost their first Super 10 match to Pakistan at the Eden Gardens. Bangladesh have qualified for Super 10 winning their all matches. Taskin Ahmed and Arafat Sunny has recently played in Asia Cup T20 where they bowled without any objection, but now the unavailability of Taskin and Sunny will break hear of Bangladesh and that will surely affect their WT20 campaign.

Bangladesh have to play either Abu Hider or Nurul Hasan. But they are not as experienced as Taskin.

However, wit other teams relying more on spinners other than pacer Bangladesh will not have much difficulty as they have good spinners in their rank who can block Australian batsmen.

Bangladesh have a good batting attack if they can do well and then Bangladesh spin department led by Shakib Al Hasan will get good assistance from Nassir Hussain, Sabbir Rahman, Mahmudulla.

Bangladesh batsman Tamim Iqbal is in good form and middle order also capable of giving assistance. But, Bangladesh have to hold their nerve against Australia who came with an ordinary bowling attack.
