ICC charges Ishant Sharma, Lahiru Thirimanne, Dhamika Prasad and Dinesh Chandimal

Punishment is looming at the head of four cricketers who were involved in a fracas incident on the fourth day of the third and final Test here at SSC, Colombo.

Dhammika Prasad was giving bouncers to Ishant Sharma  in the 75 over of India’s second innings even after the umpire was calling no-ball in every delivery. Ishant Sharma managed a strike, so when was passing Dhamika he has shown his head and seems was asking Dhammika to ‘ hit on my head’.

Following this incident, Chandimal and Ishant Sharma have physical contact with Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne. When Chandimal edged Ishant Sharma to KL Rahul, Ishant once again has shown aggression to Chandimal.

Along with Indian first bowlers Ishant Sharma, Sri Lnakan players Dhammika Prasad, Dinesh Chandimal and Lahiru Thirimanne have also been charged by the ICC for their roles in several angry exchanges during the fourth day of the SSC Test. ICC in its twitter account said, “ details to be announced after the conclusion of the Test”.
