The Cricket World Cup of 2015 so far did not offer much for the bowlers and there were bulk of runs being scored by the batsmen. Also, there has been as many as 21 number of centuries being registered in this tournament so far. And there have been totals surpassing 400 on a number of occasions. Bowlers are having a tough time for sure. Still, some bowlers of some teams manage to keep their line and length tight and maintain a disciplined length. Here is the compilation of the most economical sides with respect to bowling so far in this world cup. 

1. India, Economy Rate: 4.13rpo – 

The Indian team have been sensational with respect to their bowling. The bowlers in the likes of Mohammad Shami, Umesh Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin have managed to bowl with decent line and length so far and have been pretty much of economical. Also, India bowled out the opposition in each of the four matches they played in the tournament. The fielding also have been top class so far. If such performances, get going, then Indians will have immense chances in clinching the trophy.

2. New Zealand, Economy Rate: 4.29rpo – 

The Kiwis have been pretty much disciplined in their bowling too. They have got a strong bowling line up with the pace attack led by the likes of Trent Boult and Tim Southee and that is followed by the spinning brilliance of Daniel Vettori. They have managed to bowl out England and Australia at scores of 123 and 151 respectively.

3. Australia, Economy Rate: 4.98rpo –  

The Australians have been pretty much disciplined too in their bowling. Mitchell Starc has been in flying form for them and has been bowling rather brilliantly. Also, Mitchell Johnson and Marsh are quite much successful in maintaining a steady length. They almost defended their total of 151 runs against New Zealand.

4. South Africa, Economy Rate: 5.09rpo – 

The South Africans have been phenomenal in their bowling. They did concede 307 runs in their match against India but they recovered steadily. And had came up with brilliant performances against Ireland and West Indies. In today’s game too, they bundled Pakistan for a total of 222 runs.

5. Pakistan, Economy Rate: 5.23rpo – 

This team has been coming to shape recently. They performed poorly in their matches against India and West Indies where they conceded over 300 runs on both the occasions. They however recovered well and performed brilliantly after that. They even bundled South Africa for 202 runs today.
