Australian pace star Josh Hazlewood felt England do not know how to defeat Australia in Australia and would be gashing their head ahead of their International Cricket Council Cricket World Cup 2015 opener on 14th February. Last Sunday at Perth Hazlewood splintered a couple of wickets to help Australia thrash England in the tri-series final. It was Australia’s 4th successive victory over their arch-rival and 8th in their past 9 encounters in 16 months.
He was quoted saying: “I don’t think they quite know how to beat us yet, especially in Australia,” Hazlewood was quoted as saying in the Sydney Morning Herald. “We’ve obviously proved that over the last few years, especially this series again, beating them a few times. They will be scratching their head, I guess, of how to get on top of us in this first (World Cup) game.”
On Sunday left-arm pace bowler Mitchell Johnson had scalped 3 wickets, following up his Ashes demolition of England in 2013-14. Hazlewood said that knocking over the skipper for a golden duck put them well on the way for the victory.
