The ICC has approved Nikita Miller as the replacement for spinner Sunil Narine in West Indies’ squad for ICC World Cup 2015, that gets underway on February 14th.

Sunil Narine, who withdrew from the World Cup on January 27th, said that he needs more time to remodel his bowling action.

“The replacement was approved as an exceptional circumstance,” an ICC release said.

The 32-year old Miller has played 45 ODIs for West Indies and has taken 40 wickets at an average of 36.52 with a good economy rate of 4.59. His last ODI was against England in 2014.
